Royal Caribbean has amended the Shore Excursions Cancellation Policy. The new cancellation policy will transition from a 24-hour prior to tour departure deadline to a 48-hours prior to port arrival deadline.
Excursions can be altered or cancelled up to 48 hours preceding port arrival without penalty. Tours including flights, trains, special occasions, overnight stays, lodgings, and Private Journeys must be cancelled off 30 days preceding your cruise to avoid cancellation penalties. Different restrictions may also apply.
The new policy becomes effective fleet-wide on June 15, 2017.
In the event that guests have booked before June 15 and wish to cancel before 24 hrs., they will be permitted to do as such. In the event that they booked their Shore Excursions after June 15, the Cancellation will fall under the new policy.
The due date for exchanges is 48 hours before port entry. In the occasion a tour is cancelled, a full refund will be given to the guest’s onboard account.
